Historic Route (Ethiopia)

Day 1 – Arrival and transfer to a Nairobi Hotel for B/B.Dinner at Carnivore Restaurant

Day 2: Nairobi /Samburu

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through Central Kenya and north across the equator to Samburu Game Reserve arriving in time for Lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.

Day 3: Samburu

Full day in Samburu beautiful game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s Zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated Giraffe. Morning and afternoon game drives with an optional visit to a local Samburu Village. All meals and overnight at the Lodge or camp.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart Samburu after breakfast and drive to the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya. Lunch at Nyahururu Thomson falls then proceeds to Lake Nakuru. Afternoon game drives in the park. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s Giraffe, black and white Rhino, waterbuck, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Baboon and many species of plain game. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge or camp.

Day 5: Maasa Mara

Depart Lake Nakuru in the morning and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Masai Mara Game Reserve, arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.

Day 6 & 7: Masai Mara

Two full days in Masai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino and Elephant).Morning and afternoon game drives with an optional visit to a local Masai Village. All meals and overnight at the Lodge or camp.

Day 8: Masai Mara – Serengeti

Depart Masai Mara to Serengeti through Isebania border. Meet Tanzania vehicles proceed with Enroute Game Drive. Picnic Lunch. Arrival at the Lodge and do afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or camp.

Day 9: Serengeti

Full day in Serengeti. Morning and afternoon game drives in the rolling grasslands studded with wildlife for as far as the eye can see National Park. All meals and overnight at the Lodge or camp.

Day 10: Ngorongoro

Another morning game drive at Serengeti then depart after lunch for Ngorongoro via Ol Duvai Gorge for a brief visit of the museum. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or camp.

Day 11: Ngorongoro

After breakfast descend down to the crater floor for half day Crater Tour, where all animal are easy to get in this 7^th wonder of the World, returning to the Lodge for Lunch. Afternoon at Leisure with optional visit to a local Masai village. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or camp.

Day 12: Arusha to Nairobi

Drive to Arusha for lunch then 2pm shuttle bus to Nairobi.

Day 1:

Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Met & transferred to Nairobi Safari Club or Similar. Check in at honeymooners’ Suite on all meals.

Day 2:

Breakfast & leave for treetops in time for lunch. Check in & leave for an evening game drive to view animals. Your honeymoon will not be complete without a visit to this romantic facility. Enjoy a floodlit animal spectacle after dinner as the animals come to the waterholes, probably in moonlight environment. Dinner and overnight at the Ark or Similar.

Day 3:

Breakfast and proceed to Nanyuki in time for lunch at Sweetwater's luxury camp. Accommodation is provided in luxurious tents, set under thatch, with en-suite facilities and private verandah. Each tent overlooks the waterhole. Within the quaint, original farmhouse is the dining room, bar and reception with its superb accommodation, personal service, first class cuisine and outstanding array of activities. Options include night game drives by four-wheel-drive vehicles, walking safaris escorted by a knowledgeable ranger, bird walks, camel safaris and outdoor dining ensure there is always plenty to do.

Day 4:

Breakfast and transfer to Nairobi in time for lunch at the world famous Carnivore Restaurant (one among 50 best small restaurants in the world).Check in at Nairobi Safari Club. Afternoon alone or can opt to go shopping. Dinner and overnight at the Club.
Day 5:
Drive to Tsavo West National Park. Afterwards, an afternoon game drive may be rewarded with sightings of the great Elephant herds, lesser kudu, Lion or Cheetah. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the Man Eaters Luxury Tented Camp or Similar.

Day 6:
Breakfast and proceed to Taita Hills sanctuary in time for lunch at Salt Lick lodge or similar. Sleep in a lodge built in the stilts as you watch the regular ambush by the predator at the floodlit salt licking/watering hove. Early morning be a bird and overview the animals from the balloon basket. Morning Balloon Safari (Optional)
Day 7:
Breakfast and proceed to Mombasa.Dinner and overnight at Mombasa Serena Beach or Similar. Honeymoon room will have balcony overlooking the sea.

Day 8 - 9:
Beach breakfast at Mombasa Serena Hotel. Spend your days relaxing, beach-combing the miles of pristine beaches, windsurfing or take a boat trip to explore the beaches as an option. Dinner and overnight at Mombasa Serena Beach or Similar.
Day 10
Breakfast and leave for Nairobi. Have picnic lunch. Transfer to the airport to catch your flight home.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1:

Met upon arrival by our representative and transfer to Norfolk Hotel or Similar. Day free for orientation and safari briefing. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 2:

Depart after breakfast and drive further north crossing the Equator to the semi-desert Northern frontier where Samburu, buffalo springs and Shaba Reserves are located to arrive in time for lunch.Unique to this area are reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and Somali ostrich. There are also lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, leopards, other big game and 100 species of birds.Samburu Serena Safari Lodge or similar.

Day 3:

Leave with picnic lunch for game drive in Samburu.This area is quite unique for its geographical and also its wildlife. We can expect to witness an abundance of wildlife here including the long necked gerenuk, Grey’s zebra and reticulated giraffe. Samburu Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 4:

Early morning game drive in the reserve and returning to the lodge for breakfast then proceed to Aberdare National Park. Transfer to Treetops or the Ark for an evening and Night of game watching from your veranda overlooking a flood-lit water hole and salt lick high up on the densely wooded slopes of the mountain. While away the after-dinner hours identifying creatures of the wild as they gingerly step out of the forest. Wildlife found here includes Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, Lions, Cheater, and Giraffe among others. All meals and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 5:

Leave after breakfast and drive via Nyahururu Falls to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its thousands flamingos and other birds. After lunch enjoy a game drive through the park and a visit to the lake, set on a plateau on the Rift Valley, overlooking one of the world’s greatest ornithological spectacles. The park is also a sanctuary for the rare black rhino, leopard, waterbuck and other species of birds.Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or similar.

Day 6:

Depart after breakfast leaving Lake Nakuru behind and drive across the Rift Valley to Narok town, proceed on to Masai Mara Game Reserve to arrive in time for lunch. The Mara is actually the Northern tip of the famous Serengeti. During your afternoon game drive you may see all of the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino) as well as plains game such as giraffe, antelope and Zebra. Mara Serena Safari Lodge or similar.

Day 7:

Early morning and afternoon game drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve Kenya’s premier reserve, home to huge numbers of plains games such as wildebeest, Zebra and gazelle as well as large populations of lions. The Mara River which runs through the reserve contains many hippo and crocodiles. Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 8:

Early morning games drive and after breakfast drive to Nairobi and transfer to airport.

Day 1 –Nairobi

On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you are met by our representative and transferred to Windsor golf & Country Club. Explore the hotel and its lush grounds and enjoy a game of golf at the club’s excellent 18 hole golf course. Overnight at Windsor Golf and Country Club.

Day 2 –Naivasha

After your sumptuous buffet breakfast, depart for the Great Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery as you descend into the Great Rift Valley. The lodge and its 18 hole golf course is perched on a hill overlooking Lake Naivasha. The views are stunning. Meals and overnight stay at the Great Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort.

Day 3 – Naivasha

Full day at the Great Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort. After breakfast, spend the rest of the day playing golf. Meals and overnight at the Great Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort.

Day 4 –Mount Kenya Safari Club

After breakfast, depart for the luxurious Mount Kenya Safari Club, from where you can enjoy the fantastic views of the snow-capped mountain on the equator. Arrive in time for lunch. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Mount Kenya Safari Club.

Day 5 – Mount Kenya Safari Club

Early morning game drive and after breakfast game drive until time for lunch. Spend the rest of the afternoon playing golf or just relax by the poolside.Meals and overnight at the Mount Kenya Safari Club.

Day 6 – Leisure Lodge Resort

After breakfast, depart for Nairobi then transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Mombasa. Arrive Mombasa International Airport in one hour and transfer to Leisure Beach Resort. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.Dinner and overnight at Leisure Lodge Resort

Day 7 – Leisure Lodge Resort

After breakfast proceed to play golf. Leisure Golf Club has an 18-hole championship Golf Course with fully irrigated fairways running through Palm, Cashew nut and Casuarinas Pine trees. Visitors should always follow the dress code: - trousers or shorts / skirts of reasonable length, collared shirts and golf / sports shoes. Dinner and Overnight at Leisure Lodge Resort

Day 8 – Nyali Beach Resort

After breakfast you’ll be transferred to Nyali Beach Resort located in north coast. Spend the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Nyali Beach Resort

Day 9 – Nyali Beach Resort

After breakfast, rest of the day will be at leisure, either playing golf or just relaxing by the poolside. Dinner and overnight at Nyali Beach Resort -

Day 10 – Mombasa Golf Club

Transfer to Mombasa Golf Club after breakfast. Play golf for the rest of the day then later you’ll be transferred back to Nyali Beach Resort. Dinner and overnight at Nyali Beach Resort

Day 11

After breakfast, catch your flight to Nairobi for flight home.

7 DAYS / 6 NIGHTS KENYA FAMILY SAFARI

On arriving to Nairobi the family vacation package itinerary heads you north to Samburu National Reserve (Depending on your flight arrival) for the first of many game watching experience. Full day of game outings with good chances to see lions, leopards and giant crocodiles before heading to Lake Nakuru famous for its pink flamingoes. Next it's on to Maasai Mara to see the red-clad, spear-wielding Maasai warriors and Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya's most renowned game park. Back in Nairobi to enjoy a farewell dinner/lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant for all types of game meat.

Day 1:

Arrival into Nairobi. You will be met by our local representative and transferred to the Nairobi Hotel. Day free for orientation and Safari briefing. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 2:

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through Central Kenya and North across the Equator to Samburu National Reserve arriving in time for Lunch. Afternoon game drive. All meals and overnight at the lodge or camp.

Day 3:

Full day in Samburu, a beautiful game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx,Grevy’s Zebra,blue-necked Somali Ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Morning and afternoon game drives with an optional visit to a local Samburu village. All meals and overnight at the lodge or camp.

Day 4:

After breakfast, link up with your driver/guide for the morning drive to Lake Nakuru National Park via Thompson Falls and other spectacular countryside. Lake Nakuru is a very shallow, strongly alkaline lake of 62 square kilometers/38 miles. It is set in the picturesque landscape of the Great Rift Valley with surrounding woodland and grassland next to Nakuru town. This is a saline Lake hosting the Pink Flamingos, Black and White Rhinos, Pelicans, Buffalos and Lions among others. Afternoon game drive at the lake shore.

All meals and overnight at the lodge or camp.

Day 5:

After breakfast embark on the morning drive to the spectacular countryside. Arrival at Masai Mara in time for lunch. The Masai are the surrounding community. They have remained proudly aloof from Western civilization. Afternoon game drive. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.

Day 6:

You have one full day at the Masai Mara. Here you may undertake optional Balloon rides or visit a Masai tribal village as an option. Enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing drives. Masai Mara is famous for its annual Great Migration of more than two million wildebeest and thousands of Thomson’s gazelle, zebra and impala. Aside from the Migration, game-viewing is excellent throughout the year. The Masai Mara is well-known for its spectacular black-maned lion and for up-close-and-personal cheetah sightings. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 7:

Breakfast then later, you have the morning drive to Nairobi arriving at about mid-day. Lunch at a Nairobi Hotel. Transfer to the Airport for your onward flight.

6 days Beach Holiday Special

Day1:

Met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport domestic fight to Mombasa.Meet at Moi International Airport and transferred to the magificient Leisure Lodge Hotel.

The city has a population of around 900,000 inhabitants (1999 census: 665,018) and is located on Mombasa Island, which is separated from the mainland by two creeks; Tudor Creek and Kilindini Harbour. The island is connected to the mainland to the north by Nyali Bridge, to the south by the Likoni Ferry and to the west by the Makupa Causeway alongside which runs the Uganda Railway. The port serves both Kenya and countries of the interior linking them to the Indian Ocean.

The town is mainly occupied by the Muslim Mijikenda/ Swahili people. Over the centuries there have been many immigrants, particularly from the countries of the Middle East and Indian sub-continent who came mainly as traders and skilled craftsmen and even after four or five generations, their descendants continue to contribute highly to the economy of present day Mombasa and Kenya as a whole.

6 Days -Amboseli,Nakuru & Mara

Day 1:

You begin your magical holiday today as you board your flight to Kenya – the heart of African Safari! On arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you are met by our representative and transferred to a Nairobi hotel. Day, free for orientation and safari briefing. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 2:

After breakfast depart for Amboseli.Leave Nairobi in the morning and drive across the Athi Plains.Amboseli National Park is arrived at in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive will introduce you to the beauty of this park, which lies in the shadow of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro (19,340 ft).Return to your lodge at sunset to watch a spectacular African sunset. Meals and overnight at the lodge or camp.

Day 3:

Proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park after breakfast via Thompson falls and other spectacular countryside. Lake Nakuru: was the first in Africa to be designated a National Park Primarily because of its numerous bird population. This is a saline lake hosting the pink flamingos, black and white Rhino, Pelicans, Buffaloes and Lions among others. Afternoon game drive at the lake shore. Meals and overnight at the lodge or camp.

Day 4:

Breakfast at the Lodge or camp. Embark on the morning drive to the spectacular countryside. Arrive at Masai Mara in time for lunch. The Masai are the surrounding community. They have remained proudly aloof from western civilization. Afternoon game drive. Meals and overnight at the lodge or camp.

Serengeti - Ngorongoro 6days/5Nights

Day 1: Arrival

Met upon arrival by our representative and transfer to a Nairobi Hotel. Day free for orientation and safari briefing. Overnight stay at the hotel

Day 2: Namanga - Serengeti.

Proceed to Serengeti via Namanga.You’ll be picked early hours by Tanzania Driver/Guide at Namanga and directly with picnic lunches drive to Serengeti, game en route dinner and overnight at the Lodge or Camp.

Day 3: Serengeti.

After breakfast, whole day in Serengeti with a morning and evening game drives. All meals and overnight at the Lodge or Camp.

Day 4: Ngorongoro.

After breakfast enjoy the morning game drive in Serengeti, after lunch depart for Ngorongoro Highlands. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or Camp.

Day 5: Ngorongoro – Back to Arusha.

After breakfast a 4-wheel drive vehicle will take you 2000ft down to the crater floor, enjoy picnic lunch at the crater after a long day game viewing, ascend back. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or Camp.

Day 6: Ngorongoro - Namanga.

After breakfast depart with picnic lunches for Arusha and direct transfer to Namanga Border. You will be picked by Kenya Driver/Guide then transferred to the airport for your onward flight.

Mt. Kenya Climbing 5days/4 Nights

Day 1:

Arrival and drive to Nanyuki town which is our base for Mt.Climbing. Visit the MauMau caves on the equator which is acclimatization for tomorrow hike.All meals served at the hotel.

Day 2:

Pick a private transport accompanied by our porters for the hike to Sirimon Park gate which is (2700m).Walk for 9km to old Moses Camp at an altitude of 3300m.Here you will have a chance to see some animals like the elephants, antelopes and also the tree climbing monk etc.

All overnight meals served in the Hut.

Day 3:

Very early in the morning before the rain starts, commence your trek to Shimptons Camp 4200m and this is between 5-6 hours. Very beautiful sceneries will be seen on the way if clear, you will see3 peaks to the summit. All meals and overnight at the camp.

Day 4:

At around 1400hrs start your hike to point lenana where this is normally a steep hike whereby you should take your time. On a clear day will have a chance of viewing Mt.Kilimanjaro and also the sunrise at around 0600hrs in the morning. Later you will have the cook prepared the breakfast ready to drop down to admire Old Moses Camp. All meals and overnight at the Camp.

Day 5:

After having your breakfast descend down to Sirimon gate whereby you will meet your transport back to Nairobi.

This is 5 day/4 nights Historic Route (Ethiopia)

Day1:

Fly to Bahir Dar, met by our representative & airport transfer- Boat ride over Lake Tana crossing the Zeghie peninsula (aprox 1hr) on the radius of Kidane Meheret. Stop to visit the ancient island monasteries of Kibran Gabriel and Intos-Jesus (land of Jesus) where present are monks living detached from society. Island churchwardens will brief on the history of each church and its artifacts you will have a guided tour of these ancient monasteries and their legendary artifacts and paintings. Afternoon drive to the site of the Blue Nile falls (Tis Issat- 54km); visit the surrounding area and the falls- overnight at Summerland hotel.

Day 2:

Transfer & fly to Gondar, arrive and met by our rep & transfer- City tour of the 16^th century capital of Ethiopia. Sights to be the royal compound (Gondar Castles), Debre Berhan Sellasie church (decorated In typical Gonderine style w/unique ceiling), Fasiledes’ holy Bath & lion cage of David the third, overnight hotel on the mountain top Goha hotel.

Day 3:

Fly to Lalibela, arrive and met by our rep & transfer- Visit the eighth wonder of the world & UNESCO world heritage site. Tour the capital city of the medieval Zagwe dynasy and the famed 11 rock-hewn churches of Lalibela. Hear the amazing stories behind these churches & overnight Jerusalem Guest House

Day 4:

Fly to Axum ,arrive and met by our rep & transfer- Tour the most ancient city of Ethiopia, visit the famous Stalae park (tallest standing rock-carved obelisk in the world 23 mtrs), St. Mary of Zion church (4^th century), tombs of Kaleb and Remhai and ruins of the Queen of Sheba, overnight Remhai hotel.

Day 5:

Transfer & fly back to Addis
